Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the office of the City Clerk located at 503 Main St, Morland, KS 67650, until April 23, 2024, at 11:00 AM local time. (Bid Date was revised as part of Addendum No. 1). At that time, the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.

The Project includes the following Work:

Base Bid: Work includes furnishing all the labor, materials, and equipment for construction of a concrete sidewalk; ADA parking; replacement of curb and gutter; excavation; backfilling; grading; site work; disposal of waste materials and fill dirt; providing fill dirt as necessary; removal and replacement of gravel/sand surfacing; grass seeding; erosion control; and all other incidental and appurtenant work required to complete improvements as shown and specified.

Alternate No. 1: Work includes the purchase and installation of a 6-foot length weatherproof recycled plastic bench (with two seat and backrest planks); concrete foundation along with anchoring of the bench; excavation; backfilling and compaction; disposal of waste materials; providing fill dirt as necessary; grass seeding; and coordination with other work completed.

Alternate No. 2: Work includes the purchase and installation of a 6-foot length weatherproof recycled plastic bike rack; concrete foundation along with anchoring of the rack; excavation; backfilling and compaction; disposal of waste materials; providing fill dirt as necessary; grass seeding; and coordination with other work completed.

Owner anticipates that the Project’s total bid price will be approximately $130,000. The Project has an expected duration of 150 calendar days.
